Installation Instructions

Under guidance install

     Disconnect the wire harness plug: Press the plug buckle or unscrew the fixing screw, carefully unplug the wire harness plug (avoid pulling the wire harness).
     Dismantle the vacuum pipeline: mark the positions of each pipeline (to prevent misconnection during installation), pinch the pipeline interface clamp, and gently remove the vacuum hose (if the pipeline is aged and stuck, you can first use a screwdriver to gently pry the clamp).
     Remove the solenoid valve body: Use a wrench or screwdriver to unscrew the screws (usually 1-2) that fix the solenoid valve, remove the old solenoid valve, and clean the dust or carbon deposits on the installation surface.
     Installation body: Align the new solenoid valve with the installation position and tighten the fixing screws (pay attention to even force and avoid slipping).
     Connect the pipeline and wiring harness: Insert the vacuum pipeline back according to the markings, ensuring that the clamp is tightened and there is no air leakage; Tighten the wire harness plug and lock the buckle.

Check for solenoid valve malfunction

     Visual inspection: Check if the wiring harness and pipelines are loose or damaged, and listen for any "clicking" sounds during operation.
     Circuit testing: Use a multimeter to measure the coil resistance (standard value of 20-50 Ω) and power supply voltage (about 12V) to determine if the coil or circuit is faulty.
     Vacuum test: Test whether the pipeline is switched on/off when powered on, and check the vacuum source and sealing.
     Data flow analysis: Use a diagnostic tool to check whether the EGR valve opening and solenoid valve working status match the operating conditions.
     Replacement verification: Replace the solenoid valve of the same model and observe whether the fault disappears.
